Privacy Policy

getonlyshows ("OnlyShows," "we," "us") runs getonlyshows.com. This policy explains what we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and to explain your rights under California law.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you send the contact form we collect your name, business name, the ad category you picked, whether you prefer email or a phone call, your email, your phone number (required only if you ask for a call), and any message you write. We use this only to contact you about ad spots, by the method you picked. We never use autodialed or prerecorded calls.
Information collected automatically. When you load the site, our hosting provider (Netlify) and our font provider (Google Fonts) receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. They use it to deliver the site and keep it secure.
What we don't use. This site does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels, or tracking across other websites.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and confirm, manage, and invoice your ad spot
- To send you information about ad spots on our postcards, which you can stop at any time
- To keep business, tax, and accounting records
- To prevent spam and misuse, and to comply with the law
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host and form storage (Netlify) and our email provider. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not give personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
Business contact information
We may contact business owners using business contact details from public or commercial sources. If you'd rather not hear from us, reply "stop" to any email or write to ben@getonlyshows.com and we'll remove you.
How long we keep it
Form requests that don't become a purchase are deleted within 24 months. Advertiser records are kept as long as needed for taxes, accounting, and legal obligations.
Your choices and California rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of our emails at any time. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act to the extent it applies to us, and we honor them for everyone. We will not treat you differently for using them. Send requests to ben@getonlyshows.com. We'll confirm we received it within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm details so we know the request is really from you.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We don't track visitors across websites, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing about how this site works. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which we already don't do.
California "Shine the Light." We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS and we limit who can see form submissions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll post the new version here and update the effective date above.
